LSP in the classroom

Hi all, I added a blog entry at http://www.abdn.ac.uk/~csc228/blog/?p=276 about my thinking about how to pull LSP into the classroom. And wondered if anyone had any other ideas about things I should look out for. I do appreciate what it says in the open source guide for LSP, and from what I discussed with Katrin and Jens too, that you can't just jump into applying this lightly. It takes time and effort. I'll sort that out…See More

Tell us a bit about the work you do
I bring university students and the working world together by helping organisations find solutions to their problems. I also prepare students with skills they can use in a variety of ongoing ways.
The longer I do this the more I also realise that I've been focusing too much on computing skills alone, and not enough on engaging the hands beyond the keyboard. Therefore the last few years I've also been bringing games into the classroom.

What would you like most from this community?
I want to find stories about what works and doesn't work for different types of groups.
What do you aspire to bring to the community?
I aim to suggest how this works inside the education system and how it can be brought to more people.
